Interactive AI Novel Game

Become the Main Character in an Endless AI Novel

TalesTalesTales is an Interactive AI Novel Game where users become the main character in branching illustrated stories powered by AI narrators. It combines AI novel co-writing, persistent story memory, generated scene art, and optional D&D-inspired mechanics.

What is TalesTalesTales?

TalesTalesTales is a browser-based Interactive AI Novel Game. You create a hero, enter an illustrated story world, and shape every chapter with your choices. An AI narrator writes each scene in literary prose. Your stats, inventory, party, and world state persist across chapters. D&D-inspired mechanics run under the hood when you want them, silent when you don’t.

What makes TalesTalesTales different?

  • Illustrated story worlds — automatic scene art on every major beat, in 20+ curated realms plus community-published settings.
  • Memory Codex — a persistent side-channel that records every NPC, thread, milestone, and inventory change so long sagas never lose continuity.
  • Switchable AI narrators — Claude Sonnet 4.5, Claude Haiku 4.5, GPT-5, Gemini 2.5 Pro. Swap voices mid-book without breaking state.
  • D&D-inspired mechanics — dice, HP, spell slots, party companions, death saves. All optional; slide them off for a pure literary novel workflow.
  • Free daily turns — 15 free turns per day on the Wanderer tier, no card. Paid tiers unlock more turns and premium narrators.

Who is TalesTalesTales for?

  • Fantasy writers looking for an AI co-writer that keeps a whole novel coherent.
  • Solo storytellers who want on-demand branching interactive fiction.
  • Choose-your-own-adventure fans who want infinite branches, not a fixed menu.
  • TTRPG and D&D players who want browser-based text adventures with real mechanics.
  • Worldbuilders who want to publish their custom settings to a shared community library.
  • Verified adults (18+) who opt in to the Mature Realms add-on.

How does Memory Codex preserve continuity?

The Memory Codex is a deterministic side-channel that lives outside the narrator’s context window. On every turn it records every named NPC, faction, quest thread, milestone, and inventory change. When the AI writes chapter 40, it reads chapter 3’s state first. Switch narrators between Claude Sonnet 4.5, GPT-5, or Gemini 2.5 Pro mid-book — the codex carries state across the swap, so your hero’s oath in chapter 2 is still remembered a hundred turns later.
